At the March meeting, the
Session approved the reports of the standing committees, and the following:
Proposal of Property
Committee to replace sanctuary lights with higher watt bulbs.
Use of Church for Youth
Group sleep-over on March 31st.
The Deacons
continue to serve those in need; make visits, etc. They are in the process of
organizing their Annual Plant Sale, being held Saturday, may 13th. Check the
bulletins for further details.
The Property
Committee continues to take care of the church. Fred Ruble and the
committee are working to fix leaks in the roof.
The Mission/Stewardship/Finance
Committee is working on their One Great Hour of Sharing mission. Their goal
this year is $1,800.
The Christian
Education Committee discussed plans for the Soup-n-Sandwich luncheon to be held
April 9th. Lee Washlaski and Marsha Stallings are working out the details. The
Youth Group will be helping with Soup-n-Sandwich and the Easter Breakfast.
The Worship
Committee is making plans for the Easter Breakfast at 9:00 AM on April 23rd.
